Superintendent Jennifer Sachs and new board trustee Kai Eusebio

Fairfield, CA (October 10, 2025) - Kai Eusebio was appointed by the Governing Board of FSUSD during a special meeting on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Selected from a pool of six qualified applicants for the provisional appointment, Mr. Eusebio brings experience in community service, advocacy and policy work, and is passionate about students and supporting the schools that helped him become who he is today.

As a Field Representative for Assemblymember Lori D. Wilson, Mr. Eusebio manages constituent casework, conducts policy analysis, and fosters positive relationships with the community, as well as local and regional partners. He has extensive experience in community engagement, and is committed to thoughtful governance and collaboration with the Governing Board and Superintendent to support the success of FSUSD and its students.

“As a proud graduate of our district and a dedicated public servant, his commitment to our students, families, and community is clear,” said Superintendent Jennifer Sachs. “Mr. Eusebio’s deep roots in our community and his experience in public policy and service will bring great insight to our governance work.”

“I want to see the next generation of our community members thrive, as was once afforded to me,” said Mr. Eusebio. “I am proud to be a graduate of FSUSD and to now give back to the community and classrooms that helped raise me. I’m grateful to all the educators and staff who mentored and inspired me along the way.”

Mr. Eusebio graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, and a Minor in Public Policy. He is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy and Administration at California State University, Sacramento. 

Mr. Eusebio will serve the remaining term of Trustee Dr. Nikki Parr who has been appointed to serve as the Superintendent of Schools for the Solano County Office of Education, effective September 1, 2025. Unless a petition calling for a special election is filed with the office of the County Superintendent of Schools within 30 days of the date of the provisional appointment, the appointment shall become permanent.
